About
Alliance Interstate Risk is a workers' compensation program created by the transportation industry for the transportation industry. In 1993, the Alabama Trucking Association Workers' Compensation Fund (ATA Comp Fund) was established as a solution to the growing problem of securing affordable workers' comp coverage for a difficult to insure industry: TRUCKING.
Since that time, the ATA Comp Fund has provided coverage to Alabama-based motor carriers and, in addition, has expanded coverage to include out-of-state carriers with Alabama exposures through its Cross Border program. In summer 2021, the Alliance Interstate Risk program was formed, taking the place of the Cross Border program. Our fully-insured, industry-leading program and services is available in the 46 non-monopolistic states, with coverage provided by Safety National, rated A++ (Superior), FSC XV by A.M. Best and A+ by Standard & Poor's.
Alliance Interstate Risk Service is partnering with state trucking associations across the nation to offer their memberships a superior and competitively priced workers' compensation insurance program, with additional benefits for the state trucking associations as well.
“It is our mission to provide affordable, customized programs - combined with a focus on safety - to help participating companies operate at the safest, most profitable level in the industry.”
