Jason Brown
Risk Manager
Jason joined the Alliance Interstate Risk Service team in March 2023 and is responsible for providing loss control and risk management services to our member companies in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Tennessee. He holds the Transportation Risk Specialist (TRS) designation through the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation (MCIEF).
Prior to joining the AIRS team, Jason served as a fulltime professional Firefighter/EMT for agencies in Colorado for 8 years. Seeking further growth, he transitioned into a role in industrial safety in 2014. He has since supported worker & environmental safety in the Oil & Gas, Maritime Logistics, & Construction/Rental Equipment industries. His focus has been on OSHA & EPA compliance, Driver Training, Occupational Health, & Risk Management. Jason leverages technology to implement best practices & corrective actions, and he believes strong safety cultures are built on quality relationships, buy-in, & accountability.
As a graduate from the University of Colorado’s School of Business, he is a die-hard Buffaloes fan & former collegiate athlete. Jason and his wife Jill live in Charlotte, NC and enjoy fly fishing, mountain biking, camping & traveling.
