Katie Coaker
Underwriting Supervisor
Katie has been with the Alliance Interstate Risk Service team since 2013 in various positions, including Senior Underwriter, where she analyzed and underwritten new business opportunities, managed a book of larger accounts, and conducted the payroll audits for several of these specific member companies. As Underwriting Supervisor, Katie continues to underwrite and oversee the servicing of her bound accounts, as well as leading, motivating, and driving the performance of underwriting through the direct oversight of underwriting support staff.
Prior to working with Alliance Interstate Risk Service, Katie attended Auburn University Montgomery, and she worked for a State Farm insurance agency with various responsibilities, including meeting with clients to review policies, cross selling services to clients, processing policy changes, filing claims and developing new client opportunities through sales contacts. She holds her Property and Casualty insurance license as well as the the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation through the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society (AIMS).
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places, visiting the mountains or anywhere with sunshine and a body of water, concerts, and cheering on her Auburn University Tigers.
