Mecianne Brown
Underwriting Assistant
Mecianne Brown joined the Alliance Interstate Risk Service team as an Underwriting Assistant in May 2024. Mecianne is responsible for assisting the Underwriting department, including overseeing receipt and assignment of new submissions and managing ongoing service of existing accounts. Mecianne has a varied professional background including the finance, retail, legal, and insurance industries, most recently having served as a licensed underwriter/title processor for title insurance. Additionally, Mecianne worked as a resource analyst and licensed insurance agent with a large southern insurance company where she performed sales and service for multiple lines of insurance.
Originally from Greenville, AL, Mecianne currently resides in Deatsville, AL. She and her husband Derek have two daughters, Elizabeth and Abigail, a son-in-law, Matthew, and four grandchildren. When she’s not working Mecianne enjoys doing anything outdoors, including kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and traveling.
