Mike Zucco
Director of Business Development
Mike joined the Alliance Interstate Risk Service team in July of 2017 as the Director of Business Development. He is responsible for the marketing and promotion, identification, evaluation, and implementation of business acquisition and retention strategies. His cumulative experience and professional expertise benefits the program by building productive relationships and enhancing existing partnerships.
Prior to AIRS, Mike worked for another Alabama based self-insured group fund for 17 years. Since 1994, he has spent his career serving agents and clients.
Mike is an active member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC), a Director and past President of the Insurance Marketing Association of Alabama (IMAA), and is the current Chairman of the Self Insurance Institute of America’s (SIIA) Workers’ Compensation Committee. Mike is a 1986 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Mike and his fiancé, Melissa, reside in Birmingham where they enjoy the outdoors and spending time together.
