Alliance Interstate Risk Service announces promotion of Candy Woodruff

Alliance Interstate Risk Service (AIRS) and ATA Comp Fund are pleased to announce the promotion of Candy Woodruff to Senior Risk Manager effective March 1, 2024. Candy has been with the ATA Comp Fund/AIR team since 2017 as Risk Manager, providing safety and loss control expertise to Members and Insureds throughout Alabama.
Don Anchors, ATA Comp Fund/AIRS Director of Risk Management, states, “Candy has been an integral part in our success of preventing injuries, returning drivers back to their families, and the growth of both the ATA Comp Fund and AIR programs. Her dedication and hard work toward her Members and Insureds have led to safer work environments as well as keeping members updated on new safety technology, techniques, and regulation changes.” Regional Risk Manager, Victor Whatley, continues, “Candy’s genuine care for her Members and Insureds and the well-being of their teams shines through in her willingness to go above and beyond for them. Whether it is a 6am safety meeting or an all-day safety meeting on a Saturday, Candy is there. Her dedication to the industry is something to be admired.”
Candy has over 35 years of experience in the trucking and safety professions through her roles as a motor carrier safety professional, as well as an insurance carrier loss control and safety representative.
